I wasn't sure how to quantify how much of Obamacare I agree with. Out of 100 points, how much is the Medicare expansion worth, how much are the exchanges worth, how much is no denial for pre-existing conditions worth, etc.?

hard to quantify

I like what we've done with pre-existing conditions but out of 20K pages, how many does it take up? 1? 2?

You don't have a choice for less than 1% but more than 0.

all votes public.
If you could lay out the line items....never mind. You cannot. That is the point, little Part. If the line items were known, we would not have this discussion.

So, the entire legacy of a 2 term President is this?

No budget
ObamaTAX
un-told Executive Regulation up the wazoo
stall domestic fuel production

Funny, there are a couple of known line items only.

Pre-existing conditions
kids remain on policy

Damn. I can't think of another positive one. There are a lot of claims of what it can do. Save money? What is the baseline.

So,. how about these.

Keep your doctor?
Pay less?
Helps the economy?

Give some line items if you want the vote. Vote for what?

Thread Fail.

even the "pre-existing conditions" and "Kids stay on policy till 26" provisions are naught but an imposition of government control over a contract between parties.

simply removing or greatly increasing the means cap on medicaid would have solved the problems O-care is supposedly designed to defeat but would have required an increase in the payroll tax to pay for it, and thats something the leftisits hate.

having to pay for the programs you want is so distinctly american, these USA haters couldnt stomach that idea.

it's so much more palatable for lefties to hide the costs and the taxes behind regulation and corporate/government collusion, but thats one of the keys to the success of fascism.

by seconding corporate cronies as their shield, the fascist can institute anything he likes, claim it is capitalism, and continue pushing for more socialism from behind the figleaf of crony capitalist corporatism.

hell it worked for mussolini, hitler, franco and FDR.

now all they need is a boogeyman.

on a scale from 0% to 100%, how erect are you right now?

I'm about 38% myself, just warming up.

Sometimes I still walk on my knuckles. Although I've been told t's an awesome sight when a Gigantopithecus is fully erect.

I would rather see single payer than ACA. That's how bad I think ACA is. There are a couple of parts of ACA that I like: pre-existing conditions, kids on insurance till age 26...

I think a good compromise would be to keep preexisting conditions regulation and accept the increase of premium costs instead of trying to device a scheme to force everyone to have insurance. ;-)
