If cannabis gets legalized the supply will increase, demand will probably increase as well but not as much as supply. Regular consumers will grow their own if they have a bit of backyard to spare. Price will decline. There probably will still be a "gourmet market" where a few fools will pay $20 per gram just for the bragging rights, but your average cannabis user is going to buy good quality weed (it is a weed, you know) for a lot less. The government seems intent on supporting the black market, witness Washington state, so, as always, prohibition will distort the market. The government's meddling is really your only hope, Buck. If cannabis were truly legalized, similar to tomatoes, you would need to find a job.

If cocaine sold for its true value a years supply would be less than 50 bucks. Weed is even easier to mass produce since there is no middle chemical process
