First time posting/growing. Help me sex my plants!

Hello all,

This is my first post on Rollitup.org, so if this question doesn't belong here; forgive me, I'm new.

I constructed a PC grow case mid August, and have just switched to a 12/12 cycle. It's been two days since, and I've been checking the plants meticulously for any signs of sex. I got these seeds from a friend. She had no idea of the strain. I've noticed small green hair-like growths around the nodes, but as far as I am aware; they're not indicative of a plants sex. I did however notice two (or probably more) slightly brownish growths, that look more like hairs (hopefully meaning it's a female!). So I'm posting here for your opinions on the matter.

I apologise for the out of focus photos, it was hard holding my camera and holding the plants, haha. I tried to get the areas of interest in focus, and have left them at a fairly high resolution so you can download/zoom in on them if you want.

The first and very last photos feature the slightly brown hairs I mentioned.

Yeah. Too young to tell. They usually show around the time you get your 7-8 pair of nodes.

The females will be obvious as fuck.

Does anyone know how long it takes males to convert females to males? For instance, I have two plants in that container, if one turns out to be male and the other female, how much time would it take for the girl to become a boy?

the male wont force the female to turn into a male!

during flowering the male produces pollen which makes the female flowers/buds full of seeds.
basically the male makes girl pregnant, with seeds.

OH! So, if that were to happen, theoretically speaking, the buds could still be harvested (and the seeds removed)? Does it affect the yield at all? Up until now, I thought they made females change sex, and I don't really have any need for males so it'd be a waste. That's rad.

3)no...females can hermie/show male parts due to genetics or stress.

It seems way to early. I see nothing out of the ordinary. after 12/12 its about 7-10 days to get clear results of sex in the plant. Don't jump the gun and start cutting them down, cause I almost made that mistake thinking I saw balls but I was told to wait a little longer to be sure. What do you know I was gonna kill a lady. Be patient you have plenty of time before the male will pollinate the female. The sex will be clear as day before that happens. Good Luck my friend.
