Sometimes people have opportunities available that require them to leave behind any gray area business. And to say there are more/better opportunities for quality growers outside of Arizona would be an understatement. Care or not, obviously not, nobody is going to help you find another, or rectify your situation after your public ousting, multiple times, especially in this industry.
Would you take that lightly?

No i think Bird prolly ripped this guy off. Sure he is sort of a dick for NAMING HIM on RIU, but it IS a common name and we name all sorts of people here.....though they are mostly people like ken sobel and other scam artists. But its seeming like bird turned into a scammer.... so im not sure i see the difference, but since he was a RIU posters and a person that helped MANY of us out i think he should be given the benifit of privacy in this case. We all know who he is, no need for LEO to know as well.
Personally i am shocked hah. Birdy was one cool ass mofo, helped me SOOOOOO much, answered so many dumb ass nub question i had.... Sad to see.
In my worthless opinion birdy bounced to another state (colo, washington or cali) and used peoples money to finance his new grow op.

Its not as if this was the first place I turned to resolve this issue. Bird had not been on his agreement for 3 months and hadn't responded to me for 3+ weeks. So when I saw bird gymnastics had been on this site more recently than he had replied to me, I figured it was worth a shot to get his attention and possibly get some help from other members of RIU. I don't really get why I'm being attacked though. I've only told the truth and maybe you don't like it, but it is what it is. I also have already admitted that I was foolish in even doing this type of agreement, but again it is what it is. Obviously, their will be a disconnect between the person who scammed me and myself? Otherwise I wouldn't be posting this stuff. lol. I also understand that other opportunities arise, but do they cause you to not talk to a person you previously had an agreement with and then just steal their $1000? Idk man. I'm not really trying to ruin anybody and I use his name so people know exactly who I'm talking about. All he has to do is come on here and refute these claims and make good on his agreement, but I don't think that will be happening any time soon. Peace.

MG - That is too common of a name for this to get Bird in legal trouble IMO. Still using his real name when even he doesn't use it...bad taste, and doesn't accomplish anything besides making you look emotional and petty. Explain, who does that help? The 'Edit' advice is sound.
However, the weed world is smaller and grower/patient one is smaller still. Maybe you're blameless, ignorance aside, but there is a saying that applies here: "don't argue with fools, people from a distance can't tell who is who". Meaning everyone besides you two doesn't REALLY know what happened, other than that its negative for both of your reps.
Bottom line: You may have been ripped off and strung along but even that unpleasantness is better than any MJ-related legal consequences, so don't be so upset you lose perspective and make shit worse! Regroup, ask for help if needed, then, like the Afro Samurai, your only aim should be to move forward. As a patient with grow rights who would rather have a caregiver, that shouldn't be too hard. Have you posted a thread here or on Hydrobreed.com? Many growers looking for patients these days - legit win/win agreements can be found. Choose wisely & good luck.

Well I'm definitely in no place to go look for another caregiver having lost that $1000. I also have no choice but to keep moving forward. However, I would also like to try and get some justice or closure to this situation. It kind of amazes me how hung up people are that I used his first name and not by his actions towards me.

Perhaps folks were more familiar with Bird (than you) and are reluctant to side with you based on just your side of the story (however true it may be). This is a patient forum, but its on a grower site, so you may be in the minority as a patient only vs a patient-grower that most of us are, or a patient-grower-caregiver as some of the more skilled and/or experienced members here are, and that includes (included?) Bird. Hope that helps you come to peace with your lukewarm reception for this thread.

you couldnt get another caregiver anyway cause when you go to add one they will use your address against the updated dispensary list so your fucked in that aspect. you have your grtow rights you should be growing......... you could have been growing the whole time and gotten free weed from him.

I do still have my card and grow rights until May. I have two small grows under my belt. However, I'm just a young college student atm and have no room to grow in my apartment. Otherwise, I would totally love to grow my own again.

If someone else is your designated caregiver you are unable to cultivate... I was under the impression that you had given your grow rights away and that is why you were complaining and made this thread. None of this is making any sense my friend!

No, as much as I would have liked to have had Bird as my caregiver, he said he was full and therefore I used his address to get grow rights for another year (He lived just outside of the 25 mile rule at the time, while I lived inside of it). With my grow rights the agreement was he was leasing me space for my 12 plants, but obviously he would be doing all the work. Then for his work/time/equipment/etc.. I gave him $1000 and for my 12 plants I was supposed to get a "free" zip a month for a year and no donation over $250 for each additional zip. Does that clarify it a bit?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that space in the top pic looks to be filled with about 12 Gavita Pro 1000 watters. They use a double ended 400 volt bulb, and really frost up some budage...

Yep, gavitas but I suspect only 600s. Given room size and light placement, also the lack of adequate acs to cool 12k. I may be mistaken though. One thing is for sure they are not cheap.

5-600 for their 1000 set up doesn't seem so bad to me, gonna try a few out myself. By the time you get a nice ballast, bulb and reflector you are at nearly the same price as the full gavita set up. In fact I ended up getting a decent deal on em at about 495 each ... just can't tell you how good they are yet. Gonna run 4 over 2 4x8 beds even though they only recommend 3 !
