based on my interactions with some vegans, i would argue differently. with the exception of sunni, the vegans i know are actually slightly overweight to quite overweight. many think that they can eat whatever they like, including many sweets that fall under the vegan category... and many don't exercise.
i had an ex-gf in college that went vegan right after we broke up. she was a budgie-butt within three months.

If we allow government to choose what we can or cannot eat, the decisions would likely be political and not medical...

The only reason it's not "fully implemented" is because 10's of millions of more people would be losing their health insurance and be dropped out of the work force all at the same time. Under Obama's Employer Mandate ACA. That is why Obama delayed it. Didn't you know?
Because it was fatally flawed to begin with.
Please explain to me how we are going to insure millions of more Americans while the cost to do it goes down?

I got real skinny after going vegan and have to eat constantly. I barely ate anything compared to now and was 30 pounds heavier. Vegan sweets have way less sugar. At least the cakes, pies and ice cream I make.

They rate his claim mostly false.
So are you saying we are getting less or more free.

Not that it will change your mind but read up on Meaningful Use and how EMTALA unintentionally encourages doctors to sell out to hospitals and things may be clearer to you. Doctors still have a choice, but in typical central planning style, the choices created are shitty and less shitty.

It shouldn't be. But the way our system is set up right now. Yes, it is a taxpayer problem. So is Obamacare. We have healthy people with premiums going up, so that people who smoke a pack a day can get cheaper coverage. People who actually want to work are having to quit their 2nd job to lower their income, so that they qualify for more subsidies and health care is more affordable for their families. This is not America. It's something different.

I don't distinguish illicit drugs from pharmacological ones and don't use either for recreation really. This country is drug induced already one way or another. I view it as a personal choice to be made by adults and doctors.
