I read good fat, bad fat about cholesterol it was pretty interesting too.

About 10 years ago I gave up salt, too. Big mistake, just recently I found out I needed iodine.
Should be able to get enough through a good diet, no need to supplement unless you just hate seafood.

Why do they add "flavor," for your health? Watch Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory candy lab scene. I bet you thought it was a joke.
You specified 2% petroleum waste. I'd like to see numbers and source for them. Don't go jtprin on me stating unbacked "facts".

I haven't seen any thread on this and was wondering what everyone's opinion is?..with Ocare, will the obese eventually be penalized?
I don't know about the government but my wife is going to be pissed when she gets home from church.....I have the whole house smelling like bacon and I have three fans going...shit...

Did you know that the federal government allows oil to be added to foods? Not the vegetable kind of oil, either – I’m talking about that oil. The oil that runs your car, lubricates machinery, and gets made into clothes and computers and cars and containers. The same oil that is made into makeup and lotion and shampoo and occasionally pet food.

You do not want to answer. 2% claim rejected for lack of evidence.
I don't eat that garbage, so why the fuck do I care. Read the label. It will say:contains 2% "or less" (haha!) flavors. You're not paying me to do research. If you ask a question, be grateful you get any answer. Especially if your reason is to prove that person wrong.

Why is Obama flying to Louisiana touting how he is such a great president for a slightly lower unemployment rate,
when the reason why is because people have given up looking for work?

I just looked at the first link and there is some disinformation there. Olestra is nothing like mineral oil (which by the way isn't petroleum or waste but a high-level raffinate) but is the fatty acid ester of dextrose. I get a burr under my saddle when they play fast&loose with chemistry andor biochem.

I don't cite, so it doesn't exist! My bet is more than the 2% or less is in there. The FDA doesn't require "indirect" contact. HG Wells said advertising is legal lying. I say on here out of the goodness of my heart and get attacked for it. When I don't add any smart ass, I get challenged. Yeah. "Prove 2%" :dunce: Next time I'll just respond with: :finger:

Petrochemicals ≠ petroleum waste. On that inequality alone your argument collapses. So hoist bird to your own exhaustion.

i'm sure you misread it, the source is not claiming Olestra is derived from petroleum.

6. Any product with Olestra, which is an indigestible plastic similar to regular old mineral oil. (Remember anal leakage? This toxic ingredient didn’t go anywhere – the FDA simply let food makers drop the warning label. Nice.)
