Should Insurance Companies Have to Take Back Their Customers

it's actually constitutional, you idiot.

but don't let facts or reality get in your racially resentful ways. keep insinuating that the president is a tyrant, a messiah, and hates the constitution.

racist moron.
Constitutional? So was slavery. Is it possible that the Supreme Court can make a bad ruling? Interstate commerce clause, pot laws etc.

Concerning your allegation of "racist moron" : When is it, in your estimation, permissible to disagree with the Mulatto President and not be a racist?

Progressives use the constitution card at their discretion and convenience.

It's a living and breathing document they say.
When it suits them they give it CPR, when it doesn't, they hang the DNR sign for everyone to see.

you guys just can't help yourselves.

If predominately black people don't like Obama, are they being racist against his white half? His race had something to do with why some people voted for him. His mixed race, which some people are referring to as "blacK" is probably reason for some NOT to have voted for him. However that doesn't mean all people that voted for him, voted for him because they wish they had a "black" best friend or all people that did not vote for him dislike him due to his "race" does it genius?

However my question stands, when is it acceptable to you, for a person not to like him for any other reason than "race" and you will accept the reason as a reason that isn't about his ethnicity ? If you keep defending him and call people that don't like him racist at every opportunity, your credibility suffers and it appears YOU are only considering his race, WHICH would make you guilty of what you accuse.

So let's enocourage young people not to get insurance and be irresponsible?
Young people can't afford to pay for Obamacare... what about that fact don't you understand? Who are you to judge what is and is not responsible for other individuals who you know nothing about?

Where is the $2,500 in individual savings Obama promised each of us under his great plan? Where is the AFFORDABLE health care?

You are correct, the young people I have been talking to are just going to take the hit with the fine..Because they just don't have the extra money...Obama encouraged the young people to blow it off with the little fines for two years...More than likely for the greater good of getting single payer down the road..If he was serious about getting enough healthy young people signed up he would of put stiffer fines right out of the gate.. There is no incentive to sign up if it only cost 95.00 of your tax returns , if you have any returns coming that is.. I just got signed up through a private Ins company not on the state exchange and I am saving 960.00 for the year with my new policy. So for me I feel good about the small savings...

I am convinced few of you even know what the ACA is. Let me help you just a little

Almost 80% of the population gets insurance from their employer so this matters very little to most .

The ACA or Obama care is not a product you can buy it is a set of laws that set out to do two things.

First it has an individual mandate
This means "all" citizens are required to purchase a health care plan. I put all in quotes if you are a Native American you are exempt. If you are Amish or have some other religious reason to not have modern health care you are exempt. If paying for health care will cause you a hardship you are exempt. If you make so little you do not have to legally file a tax return you are exempt. If you choose not to purchase a plan you will be fined. fines range from $98 dollars to 1 percent of your pay. About*

The second thing it does sets out rules for insurance companies
Things like they can not drop you for arbitrary or unscrupulous reasons
Insurance companies can not refuse you coverage or charge you more for pre-existing conditions for the same plan they sell others
Family plans cover children until they are 26
There is no caps on help care spending on the life of your plans.
Insurance deductibles are capped

secondarily Insurance policies must cover a few basic things as copied from healthcare.com as I couldn't think of all 10 on my own.

“Essential health benefits must include items and services within at least the following 10 categories: ambulatory patient services; emergency services; hospitalization; maternity and newborn care; mental health and substance use disorder services, including behavioral health treatment; prescription drugs; rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices; laboratory services; preventive and wellness services and chronic disease management; and pediatric services, including oral and vision care.”

If you have a plan that does not fit into the laws of the ACA you are part of the 2million people that will lose your plan
This law will help an estimated 40 million of the currently 48 million uninsured or under insured get health care.

Single payer is the golden ticket to the fundamental transformation. They really should have thought about the adverse effects of converting thousands of full time jobs to part time, right when they needed a bunch of people who work to fund their new Obamacare tax.

The state of Oregon needed people like me to sign up through the exchange so they can create revenue to pay for this program. But they waited to long and I found my own..The facts are in and it looks like the people that are running the country right now have been high on Obama crack and they have lost all common sense..It's a happy thought getting everybody health care, but that is the reality of being high on Obama crack..And then when it is time to sell health care it's like there is no more Obama crack, party's over, and nobody knows what to do, and then you just got to let them hit bottom...And then next November you put a boot in there ass..imo

when you make a policy disagreement without all the personal acrimony and racial slurs, like you saw fit to use.
Well if I made a racial slur, it was not intended. Perhaps you see things that are not there. By the way was your imaginary best friend as a kid, black too?

You asked me to prove it happens I show you where the CEO's of companies go in front of the House of Representatives and admit it. Since it didn't fit into your narrative you deny it exist then you make up numbers to minimize it.

Now you want me to prove you wrong
You proved that rescission happens, you NEVER proved that Insurance companies dumped people off the plans because theyt got too expensive, which is EXACTLY what you have claimed.

The best part is that you keep claiming that my numbers of people that those 3 health insurers cover is made up, a fabrication, yet you don't even TRY to back up that claim. If my numbers are a fabrication as you have claimed, the onus is on you to prove such , not mine, but since you don't want to humiliate yourself I will just have to do it for you.

UnitedHealth alone serves more than 70 million people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UnitedHealth_Group

Wellpoint Serves 67 Million people http://www.wellpoint.com/prodcontrib/groups/wellpoint/@wp_news_main/documents/wlp_assets/pw_d014892.pdf

do you think Assurant, the 4th largest insurer in the US, has less then 8 million customers? Do ya?

Well according to the cbo, it's now going to have to help insure 120 million people. Your 40-48 million, plus the roughly 80 million that will lose coverage due to the law.

That's not a good thing.
