Wtf is wrong????????

I had 5 girls about 8 weeks old under 30600 lumens of blue and red CFL light. I kept getting told Oh, youre not gonna be able to flower those unless you get an HID. So after a bit of study I decided to get a 600w HPS I then switched from 18/6 to 12/12. I also ordered FF three pack Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. I haven't used the GB but I used the other 2 one time. That is the only thing I have done other than the light hour change. Now my plants are flimsy and droopy the stems seem soft they just aren't as strong as before also they aren't growing as fast. IDK I feel like putting them back under the CFLs but I already have another batch vegging. What is wrong? What should I do?

I have no experience with "light shock", never seen anyone with it either. Are you sure your not just overwatering?

I don't think its enough light, It seems like they were more robust or just stronger with the CFLs it was like 40600 lumens and they were like 4 inches from them. do you think that the HID is too weak and far away?

depends how far you have the 600... I think they recommend like 14-16" or so?

I switched from CFL's to a 400w HID and everything was fine, I was using around 400w of CFL anyway so it didn't change much. and I still use around 160w of CFL for side lighting.

I vegg clones under florecents and cfl's if I have to but my 600w HID is way better. There is no comparison. HID puts off way more heat though. You have to be able to pull the heat out of your room. This could be why. They were used to cool light and now they cant perspire fast enough to hang with the temps. They will need to acclimate for a few days. And give them a fan to help air circulate. Good luck.

droopy plants is usually an underwatering problem, or overwatering too. If the temps are under 80 then its not too hot. I have a 600W HID blasting some super lemon haze and the light is only 5 inches from the cola. if it doesnt burn your hand it wont burn the plant.
