This guy is a sick bastard. That fecal fantasy monologue of his was absolutely disgusting. And this wasn't some off-the-cuff remark. He actually composed it in advance, had someone in the newsroom type it up and presented it live right off the teleprompter. Not once did anyone say "Hey Marty... this might be a little much, even for us."

You have a brand new councilwoman here in a racially diverse neighborhood talking about African Americans' fear of being “pushed out of their homes” by “Jewish landlords” and linking it to anti-Semitic violence which has played out in the form of “the knock-out game.” Now if you're a Jewish person and your neighborhood councilwoman is Ms. Cumbo, how would you feel about living in Crown Heights right about now? Can you feel confident going to Ms. Cumbo to help you with a problem in the community?
Why has no one called for her resignation? Why has there been no outrage or pressure on her to issue an apology?
Liberals, please feel free to explain to me how this isn't outright racism, straight up.

Not much to see here. A councilwoman brings up a fair point, though tactfully not well, that a potential reason for the black community in her area are reacting to what they feel is being pushed out of their community by Jewish landlords, by doing the knock-out game. It may be a fair point, it may not be. But it was an attempt to make the community as a whole aware. If you go on to read the entire story and its extensions, you will see it was an attempt to cause awareness and derive a solution.
How is she being a bigot?

So what if in a predominately Hispanic and black neighborhood, where black residents are being assaulted at random by Hispanic youths, a Hispanic city councilor stepped out to make a link between Hispanic youths attacking blacks and fears Hispanic residents feel that black landlords are trying to keep Hispanic people out of black-owned housing through discrimination? That's not racism to you?
