have you ever tried just transnplanting directly into one gal grow bags and flowering immediately with as many plants packed under your lights as possible, it looks like your growing an indica, you could get major yields if you did a true sea of green.

What in your eyes is a true SOG??I plan on keeping an indica mother plant in veg,then taking 10 clones..as soon as they root,Ima place in small 4 IN coir pots,and throw into 12/12 under the 150W HPS...doesnt get any more SOG than that right??

exactly. the only thing i could think of to get more out of it would be to maybe fim or top one time. Im not sure exactly how much space in between you would have to fill, but my first grow was 2 gal grow bags and i topped one time and i filled out really nice

Yeah,but topping and all the vegging time it involves really defeats the purpose of a SOG big time!!The whole reason to SOG is to make a canopy of SINGLE main colas from female clones that were flowered as soon as they root...thus topping the plants will create more bud sites and require alot of vegging time to make the plants bushy!!

I dont think so, if you top at 6 inches then veg for a bout 5 days longer and then flower and you will have 2-4 colas a plant and you will have alot of space filled out.

But your right it would be better to pot in smaller bags and just have single cola plants.

why not just get a MH conversion bulb for your 150w HPS and use that with your cfls for veg. Thats what I'll be doing but with florecent tubes and a 400w conversion bulb. Anyway i'm not an experienced grower just a thought

Ok..where do I get a 150W conbersion bulb??Point me to it,and Ill buy one for you too!!

sorry but I can't find a 150w HPS to MH conversion bulb, you can find the other way around for 150w otherwise i saw 175 and 250w but not 150

Ok,Im back....I have the plants vegging udner 2 cfls..Ima add moe though..is this enoguh for seedlings?Also,should I move the plants out to the sun sometimes,or just leave inside forever?Will all the sun and cfls changes atress them??Someone told me they might get stressed from all the light intensity changes all the time!!!
