Back in highschool there was a skinny kid named Dan that always got reamed in the locker room by some of the jocks. I told one of them to lay off or some day they might get what was coming to them. This guys thing was to catch him from behind, pinch his neck really hard and yell SPOCK! Well oneday we finished playing softball and were showering and he got spocked. A few minutes later, Dan casually walks up behind his assailant calmly says Ballbat and busts his collar bone with an aluminum softball bat. Woulda been in the skull w/o the warning...

That was the worst bullying retaliation I ever saw. Neither kid was ever seen in school again.

Me? You gotta be kidding!? I used to fight with the girls in the years above! Jk, well kind of.

Not in my school. It was unheard of.

Stand up for your self. I've lost several fights, its not that bad. If and when you get hit back you might see a flash, you feel a thump and taste copper if he hits you hard enough. After that you'll be fine, shit will happen so fast you won't feel the rest. I would rather have a black eye or broken nose than hang my head in shame.

Brass knuckles.

I was bullied once, in Kindergarten, I flipped out on the second grader, beat his ass bloody, and was left alone for a while... Again after moving, I was bullied at my RC Primary school, Again, it was a kid much older than me (this time, I was in 3rd grade, he was in the 8th grade.) I waited for him after school, and did just like that "birdie birdie in the snow" rhyme. I took a chunk of slate to his head, from about 8 feet over him... When I moved to the suburbs, in 8th grade, a kid tried bullying me, he sucker punched me in the hall, I called up my homies from the hood, and after school we beat wholesale ass on him and his "crew." When I got to prison, when I was 19, I was young, white, and in a Max. Sec. for starting a riot at a Y/O camp. I put my paddlelock in my sock, tucked a razor under my nuts and went into the shower. When dude came in and told me what a nice ass I had, I bashed him with the lock, locked the shower with him and I in it, and gave him a little tribal scarification artwork.

YMMV -- I don't mind resorting to deadly violence to deal with bullies. Taught my kid the same way, she got bullied 2 times, once my kid took a brick to the kid, the other time she punched the bully square in the throat and sent him to ER, via ambulance service. Both kids were 3-4 grades older than her and male.

Bullies need beat downs.

Attack the knees on approach, stick your fingers in his mouth and fish hook him, walk him around!
I have a soft spot for knees as well :)

Winning isn't important, it's being willing to take a hit and making sure you are a very expensive target.

A front kick to the Knee is the closest point of attack, that is if someone is coming at you! Odoyle rules!

Bonus points if someone knows what giving someone a bark is.
Will accept making them bark as well.

Full Bonus points to all the people who recognised the bullies to be cowards, knowing full well that fronting them (combined with the element of surprise) is the best reaction/answer.

A guy had me in a headlock one time and wouldn't let go. His hand slipped and I very nearly bit his finger off.....

Fucker let go though ;)

a couple months later this same guy who thought he was a badass entered in a smalltime cage match. yep, he got his ass kicked

A girl in elementary school used to tackle me and try to shove roots and grass in my mouth. In my yearbook she called me root boy. Jokes on her because I kind of liked rolling around with her but I couldn't really hit her or anything w/out alienating myself form the class. I am lucky to have not been bullied too badly....I flew under the radar and was kind to people because I would have sorta been an easy target otherwise
