I can't really say how effective it was because my grow area wasn't sealed off. Last year, I used a water wand to wash the plants and once or twice a week I'd foliar feed with potassium bicarbonate (and a little soap). Besides physically washing the bugs and eggs off, I think the potassium messes with the egg development but that's just a guess. It's organic and doesn't add a bad taste because the plant uses it. Better than Serenade, in my opinion. Anyway, I hardly noticed bud worms last year. I still use the pond netting for the strawberries, though. Good grow 2014 to you.
