I have my flower initiator puck plugged onto a wemo! great way to control these far red lights. I give them exactly 13 minutes when lights go off and have noticed zero stretch (I'm on week 5 of flower) I also keep the Far red puck on while the lights are on for 12 hs for that Emerson effect.

This is why I figure I should be OK in my 2.5x2.5 tent with 6 cobs and a mars 300 (red blu) PLUS the rapidled far red puck on 12 hs along with the other lights. The Mars 300 will cover the supplemental red with 620~630nm, 650~670nm bands and paired with the far red puck hopefully I'll get that...

I would've cried upon seeing my tops stretch over the scrog . This is my plant today on day 48 of vege. Scrog should go on these next couple of days and then shortly after that I'll flip to flower. My height is 6 foot but I for sure want to keep things as low and non stretched as possible.

I actually did see that one! but since my room is 2.5x2.5 and the coverage for the little guy is 3x3 I figured It might just be enough to create the emerson effect on its own no? I'm going to be switching to flower in 3-4 days. Will do 12-12 I figure and just two minutes of far red after lights...

Which is exactly what I wouldn't want! SO I think I'm going to play it safe and just do 2 minutes of FAR red just after lights out.

Hey mate! I just ordered a far red initiator from Rapid led (https://www.rapidled.com/far-red-initiator-puck/) They 4 x use Cree XLamp XP-E Leds. Would you recommend I run these for 1-2 minutes before lights out and 1-2 minutes after lights out? My grow space is 2.5x2.5x6 Thanks < 3
