    Yes, gravity feed. Each base has wicks that run under the fabric pots. The bases are automatically watered from the rez, water level controlled by the small round box

    Growing in Thailand

    Spray them before you bring them in. I've finished outdoor plants many times indoor here in Michigan, where we have a short season. Although he may be better off just goin all indoor. Regardless, he should have some sort of IPM in place, especially in a high humidity environment.
