In general I agree with you pro, but, with such a tiny area, won't the high airflow from the centrifugal damage the plants? If you do go with the centrifugal, I'd guess you will want to use the 4".

A 30" grow cabinet? Possibly. Looks like that fan is rated at 180 CFM free flowing, which should be ample for that small a space. I know carbon filters restrict the flow a bit, which is my only hesitation.
