As far as i know, cloning propagation(cutting from mother plant) is vulnerable to pathogen disease and necessarily going through cell senescence process.
So after i clone a clone of clone... it slowly lose her vigor due to reasons i said, not due to things like 'genetic drift'.
But if i use...
If i grow 2 plants, can i veg more than 8 weeks? Because i have to cut clones from them, they have to go through at least 8weeks of veg time(i heard that the mother plant for cloning should be more than 8weeks ) and i turn them 12/12 light schedule for flowering.
I want to grow 4 plants(clone) in my 4x4 grow tent.Is 9 weeks veg period(take clones before 12/12 flipping) ok for forming suitable canopy for 4x4 space?
What about filing co2 into my room through my respiration?
Close all the doors and windows in a room and after couple of hours the co2 ppm indoor goes up to upper than 1000ppm i guess.
Grow tent uses ventilation system, but indoor avg co2 level keeps high enough for plants to get advantages from...
I just read a couple of posts about this topic(cloning a clone of clone of clone...)
And most of the people said, clone is just the same copy from original plants and there are no genetic degradation at all.
Then what is the special benefit from maintaining motherplants for cloning? getting many...
