And the old quantumhydro is being modded into a dripper system too, but that will only be used for potting on the seedlings from the propagator, using clay in pots instead of rock wool.

I have had a change of plan since my previous posts, now I'm gonna go with a custom recirculating NFT/dripper system using clay pebbles in airpots!, it will make sense when I put up a piccys of the whole setup!... :D. (I'm used to Hydro, not coco or soil BTW) And I'm going for all Dos Si Dos...

Sorry to hear that matey, I am about to get another 10 dos si dos 33 seeds, giving me 14 beans, hopefully I'll get at least 10,if not, I have 5 auto glue gelatos to go in if I don't hit 12/16...

That's a new one to me buddy!, I got pH meters, tds meters, ec truncheon, temp probes, and a water/pH soil meter somewhere, one of the basic 2 pronged majigamies from the garden centre style ones... And a load of water purification gear, full on RO, or HMA, or a mixture of both... Lol!. Never...

I awaiting some of those Dos Si Dos #33 beans too... ;) Just need another 5 different sorts to shove in with them. Thinking on Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girls... Not sure yet.

Loving this thread!, I love a bit of DIY, have a ton of stuff to make 'little projects' with, as I come from an aquatic/planted tank background, so have never grown in anything but hydro,but I now have 5 20lt air pots that I plan on using in my next grow, thinking of a clay pebble base, rest...

Thanks for all the info everyone, (can't find the thanks button yet)!. I think it will come down to experimentation, with filter, without,see what temps in room, any smells outside room, and buy what's needed to remedy it, be it 8' fan and filter, or ac unit for now. I have 'real' cool...

Should of said, I'm about to kick off 4 feminised (dos e dos #33) seeds that will end up in a Quantum hydro system, 5 unknowns (can't decide yet) in coco in 20l air pots, and another 1 or 2 in a homemade dwc hybrid, can't make my mind up on what beans for the dwc or coco grows, so I'll take any...

Gonna run the 2 cool tubes with fresh air, with one rvk125 pushing air through the sealeled tubes,and see how it goes. Will see what the more experienced than I for info on ac vs 10'carbon filter...

I was budgeting on around £200 for the new carbon filter an fan,, so any ideas for a ac unit for the same sort of price would be well appreciated!

Funny enough, ac/dehumid was next on my 'to buy' list!, i can probably afford some unit or another in a few weeks time... Next question,will ac remove smells?,so could I dump the 10' carbon, keeping the 5' with the cool tube setup, and ac dealing with the rest?.
