  • just mount it in any kind of box that wont catch fire easy if say you accidently dumpt nuits or water on it so it would stay dry. A plastic or metal box would be fine. or even a tupperware or food storage container.
hey jem im not selling these. you have to go to ebay and search for crescent light fixture. they auction 1 per week and when it starts on thur. morning its buy it for 20. you can try and message the seller and see if they will just sell them to you.
yea i know i got it working but like i said i want to put it in a box with switch on it with red light. i need a quick pic up close like your other ones i built the system it works just want to mount it lioke yours but need step by step cor scmatic not to good at that part
all you got to do is put the switch inbetween the trigger cord (from timer to contactor) and the contactor. so that the switch breaks the conection between the timer and contactor as if you were to unplug it. Mine is a little dif cause it cuts off power to the timer first. glad to see it all worked out.
    peace
yea i built it but don't know how to work it i made it exatly like yours. i plugged the other end of the surge protector in wall and the timer to the plug that comes off the fuse it will not work. do i need to plug the other end of the timer some were its is the art dne1
sounds good, they take the main load of the timer so if something goes wrong it wont fry your timer, and by keeping the load off the time its not stressed from running to many amps through it. So then you get long life out of it. The main reason is that you can run multiple pumps or lights off one timer without the load being on the timer.
try a store called grainger online. they will ship it about anywere. not to bad on prices too
dude your not being a nag. I will find some links to affordable ones for ya in the morning and send ya a p.m. with the links just got back from the bar and am going to bed or I would do it tonight. peace
it cost me about $90 or so to build mine but its a little better than the store bought ones. since I can just replace only the parts that fail if they ever do. Sorry I didnt see all your messages till now. Ive been swamped at work. I will try to get on that better scematic soon. feel free to ask any questions I am happy to lend a hand to a good cause. peace
in the stinkbud harvest pound 3 week thread I listed 3 dif links. I belive there like 3-6 pages back from the last. Im at work rt now so I cant stay on here long. but if you dont find it pm me later and I will find them again. peace
thanks i got everthing just got to find the contactor relat radio shack only has 5 amp ones
the box was just to keep it nice and uncluterd. The box one also has a timer. the pic were its just a power strip . contactor and cord is what you need with allready having a timer. I would put it in a box to keep it all dry and safe.= longer life
lowes wont have a contactor Ive tried. prob a ac or heat hvac store or pool/spa store. or the best deals would be at an electrical store that supplys household wireing stuff like circut breakers and fuseboxes and lights. but like lowes has all that but no contactors. the switch will allready be on your power strip and timer. since i built my own timer in with my contactor it had to have a powe switch. well it didnt but I wanted it to be able to turn off when cleaning the res. I also added the indicator just so I know the unit is powerd up. its just something so it gives me peace of mind when I walk buy and see it lit, I can think well thats workin. check out my pics with the one not in a box. thats the one you want to build and put in a box so it will look like 2 cords going into a box and one power strip coming out . the only thing that needs to be boxed is the contactor. peace
pic 30995 skemaic i don't understand i like 31047 with light on box 31048 i want to build pic 3100 looks cool do you put that in box i need help 110vac input is that what i nmeed when io go to home depot or radio shack what parts do i ask for i am sorry i am not good at this it looks likie you madse your own timer i am about to pay you to build me one how much?
i sort of get it but not relly i got a power strip wire nuts and box what is this 50 amp fuse thing is it a circit breaker like off a breaker box. i am not good at this
look in my pics under projects. You can build one to add to a timer like you have.

These are what you will need

-box to house the contactor or relay in. $1-10
-box or bag of wire nuts and/or crimp terminals & misc spade therminals $5-$10
-40 amp (or in your case 50 amp. -since 5 pumps- or just make 2 units total)
contactor or relay. The specs would say something like 110vac input (220-240 if
thats what you want) the 40amp is the part for the load or amount its rated to
max handle. If you went with a double pole double throw (dpdt) one you could make
it run 8-10 pumps or a spst single pole single throw would work to make enough for
    the 4-5 pumps. $15-$35
    - you will need a power strip with at least 5 outlets on it for 5 pumps (2 of them if
making it run 8-10 pumps) this could be with or without reset on it. like something
you would run your computer off of. $3-$8
    - A 2nd cord to run from the timer outlet to the contactor/or relay (this system will
require 2 outlets to plug into. one on the timer you allready have and one for the
power strip to plug into.) $5
    - Cut the cord of the power strip in half and the contactor goes imbetween them to
make them conect again like a switch.
    - once you get all the stuff in hand, look at how its pictured in
    "PROJECTS" album of
    my pix:bigjoint:
