Saw your post in the electrician thread, and you seem knowledgeable enough, so I thought I'd ask you. I currently have 5 26 Watt CFLs running through a power strip/surge protector for a total of 130 watts. I was wondering if this is reasonably safe? Its my understanding that none of this really is, but I figured I'd ask. The setup is 3-prong power socket > light socket adapter > Y light socket spliter, or just a 3-prong power socket > light socket adapter. Hope that makes sense... thanks!
