Just read your post on chasing PH, I feel for you with this aggravating problem . I know that when you add straight ph up or down without first diluting it you get a bad chemical precipitation happening. You can see it happen when that cloud forms. It screws up your nutrient chemistry. I cant tell you what happens because it has to do with negative ions forming and such and I am not a chemist..
