Hi everyone, I’m DanK Elly, but you can call me Dank—a name that carries not only my personal legacy but also a rich history in cannabis culture. I’ve been quietly working in the cannabis world for over 30 years, driven by a passion for growing, genetics, and pushing the boundaries of what this plant can do. Until recently, I stayed under the radar to protect my family (I’m raising eight amazing kids!) and avoid the legal risks here in Minnesota. After years of browsing this forum and admiring the community, I’m finally ready to share my journey, knowledge, and passion with like-minded individuals.
My Growing Expertise

I specialize in both outdoor and indoor cultivation, each with its unique challenges and rewards:

• Outdoor:
  I’ve developed a terraced growing system on the Mississippi River bluff that defies Minnesota’s short growing season. My methods produce absolute monsters—averaging 3-5 lbs per plant, with some reaching up to 11 lbs. By harnessing natural elements and advanced techniques, I’ve consistently achieved record-breaking results in biomass, flower density, and pharmaceutical compound production.
• Indoor:
  My indoor expertise was honed in the ’90s in California under the guidance of my uncle (Also Named Dank), a cannabis pioneer who passed his legendary genetics and knowledge to me. Our flower was the foundation for the term "dank" as we know it today or at least thats what we love to believe. Indoors, I continue to innovate, using modern techniques to grow exceptional plants with AAAA+ quality.

Genetics Collection

I’ve spent decades phenohunting and curating a one-of-a-kind genetics collection, including rare strains from top breeders like BeLEAF, Humboldt, Ethos Genetics, DJ Short, and Rare Dankness. My collection also includes heirloom seeds from my uncle’s work in the '70s, '80s, and '90s—original seeds that laid the groundwork for some of today’s most iconic strains. While I’ve never sold or shared these genetics, I’m here now because I believe in preserving and sharing these treasures with the community to ensure their legacy lives on.
Passion Projects

In addition to growing, I’m the Original creator of Dank Gummies, although knocked off 1000 times over mine are handcrafted using only the finest live rosin and the best cannabis strains for an unforgettable experience. I’m also fascinated by plant science, experimenting with triploids, tetraploids, and rare mutations to push the limits of what cannabis can become.
Why I’m Here

I’m joining this forum to connect with fellow enthusiasts and find honest talented growers that take meticulous notes in order to help me find the hidden gems amongst this collection of seeds left to me by my uncle which there are tens of thousands of seeds and there's bound to be a couple unforgettable strains amongst them. All I ask is for a few rooted clones once they are found. I also like to share ideas, and contribute to the incredible knowledge base that’s built this community. I’m particularly interested in collaborating on ways to preserve rare genetics, refine cultivation techniques, and explore new frontiers in cannabis breeding and push the limits of the plant using Polyploidy.
