depends on how big you want them when they are finished. they will double in size when you switch, so when they are half as big as you want them you can switch to 12/12.

hello, my friend started growing about 2 1/2 weeks ago and they did great till he moved them into the attic. he has a heating pad and 2 sets of lights. one for growing and the other for heat. when moved to the attic they stopped growing as fast. i mean they bearly move. the stems are red on two of the three and one of the ones with a red stems leaves are pointing stright up. some one please tell me what im doing wrong?
