and i wouldnt try to build one from scratch unless you have a very advanced understanding of electricity and electronics, theres a lot of forces at play here and the risk of fire is very real. id stick with the manufacturers version, theyve been building them for a 50 years now, the cost sucks but what your paying for is peace of mind. you wouldnt try to build an engine for a car unless your a mechanic, right?
