That's exactly what I did. 2nd generation now. First was 18/6 and they did well. 2nd was 20/4 and it increased 30%. I'm growing white widow now from seed at 20/4.
All I'm saying is I went to a 20/4 light cycle instead of 18/6 and increased my yield 30%. I just have a hard time believing leaving lights on a plant 24/7 is the best thing for a plant we care so much about.
I'm not saying it wouldn't work. When did I say that? I'm talking about over all health of a pot plant. I'm sure 24 makes them grow. Never said it didn't.
It seems to be working great for me. Plants don't need 8 hours of sleep like humans. I would think the pot community would be supportive but there is always a price.
