I usually take my seeds place them on top of some moist paper towel in a plastic cup, then place another moist paper towel on top and follow up with plastic wrap on top of the cup. Then place near a heater to keep them warm and keep humidity up. I usually have a 90 percent germination rate.
Were the seeds cracked or not? If they were cracked and the root tail was protruding than you would expect to see them in minimum 4 days may take longer if you put them in the ground without the tail protruding. Could be two weeks or more.
