Fair point. You know history better than me but I'm not totally ignorant of it. I'm just more narrowly focused. Spent a lot of time looking into the 60's assassinations and the intel organizations.

Musicals and chick flicks dominate the channel. They need to broadcast much more in the way of suspense , mysteries, action. I'm aware they do broadcast them occasionally but the chick stuff dominates.

I'm not an anti-communist. I think their system has flaws but i have never hated communists. I always saw them as a bit deluded but not crazy or nuts.

Its not a complete analogy but it is at least a partial one If it's a poor analogy please explain why.

An armed population is not a trivial matter. It has major advantages and disadvantages. Remember Vietnam ? It showed that it is very difficult to defeat a native population fighting on their own land even when their enemy has vastly superior weapons.

It's almost a year since Connecticut legalized recreational pot for adults . If you go to the various websites of dispensaries in the state they claim that they have no idea when recreational sales will begin. Why are they refusing to give any dates (even those that are tentative and vague) ?
