I had a look at that Beanstalk, its like those Grow Dots slow release ferts, I don't know man Id rather run a full coco nutrient where the plant has access to all nutes at any time throughout all the media and you can make adjustments at different times, I can see those slow release pellets causing problems as you have no control over anything, maybe next run give a quality Coco nutrient a go I use Canna but there a few others that's as good or better, it might fix the issue this lot is showing.

I'll reevaluate at the end of this grow for sure. I've got a buddy who makes a killer living soil and I may buy up some of his soil from him. That way everything is still water only. I was genuinely just curious about how the beanstalk could perform.
The plants in the middle (The Hive) are the saddest plants for sure but even they don't look terrible. Clearly not perfect but definitely not dying either. We will see how they do in flower but I'm not going to freak out yet. The BBB and GMS plants all look generally pretty good. The BBB in the corner is actually praying very hard.

I would think they would have recovered from that way back they will recover from pretty much anything while in Veg but not in flower, you lose time only and you can get them back to perfect, I think with yours they have done more adapting than recovering it looks like they all are suffering in the same way showing the same symptoms only in different degrees, I think the slow-release food is causing an imbalance where they are getting too much of something and not enough of something else, some of them may be a little more tolerant to it, my gut feeling says its the feed, Id test what the EC and moisture is deep inside the pots, then compare each pot are they the same readings. I use Bluelabs Pulse Meter for this and often find that the moisture holding capacity can be different in different pots all filled with the same mix, in a hydroponic nutrient solution, it can affect the EC deep in the pot, but in your position, it could affect the releasing of nutrients by the pellets, maybe.
Being great until transplant tells you something is wrong in the bigger pots and its consistent over all, have you ever flushed plants fed with these slow release ferts, Id be interested in what EC comes out over some weeks.
With the equipment and monitors you have if you want Formula One results, I would run DWC. dialed in It will blow away any form of live soil media regarding speed growth and yield.

The plants are looking pretty good today. I'm watching the water level in the autopots and it appears as if the water level is not decreasing in these bases as well. For now I'm just going to keep an eye on it and let it ride but in the future I might decide to place weights on half of the aquavales and do a comparison test.

I turned the minisplit to cool only but the temperature reached 54 degrees during lights off so I switched it back to auto. The plants were still looking happy this morning. I got the thermometer and hygrometer sensors in the mail yesterday so now my equipment is calibrated.

Been following this thread as I just received my auto pots (only a 2 system) and went with Geo Pots, but BF will order an XXL single to have one large. I will be using 6G fabric pots, for my Auto flowers, trying to see if the extra depth allows for a slightly longer veg period. (They measure 17 deep and 10 wide) versus 5G at 12 inches wide and 10 inch depth. Hoping that extra distance doesn't hinder the uptake of water. Watching many people who are really growing large autos, using Autopots but most are using 3 gallon plastics, only a few using the Geo pots with great success. Thansk for all your problem solving and hopefully your system is finally right. Great grow by the way.

Wanted to say I'm one of the few I guess since I used Geo Pot this last grow to a huge success! Just finished up a GG4 from GG Genetics and it is very potent. I'm really happy with the way the system worked. I only ran 1 pot that grow but I'm gonna do two 3 gallon geo pots this next grow. The 5 gallon pot I used grew a big plant. Your 6 gallon no doubt will do the same!

Thanks for following along! I think the XXL comes with 9 or 13 gallon pots. I've seen a lot of great autoflower grows in autopots online. I don't know if the extra depth will extend the veg period or not. You are encouraged to post here any of your progress photos in the autopots.

I switched the light cycle today to 12/12 for flower. I am afraid I may have let the get a little too big but maybe not. Tomorrow I will do a defoliation on the plants so that they are ready to stack budsites in a few weeks. The grow is basically on auto pilot with the majors tasks being:
- defoliation/plant upkeep
- ipm
- emptying the dehumidifier's bucket
- keeping the reservoir full of water and maintaining the pH controller
That's about it.
I will take clones this week.

It's the weekend, which means i will be taking clones and defoliating and chopping lower bud sites from existence in the next couple days. I plan to spend 10 to 15 minutes per plant defoliating and removing the lower budsites before I take my clones.
I had to add water to the reservoir three times this week. I would guess that these plants drank about 3-4 gallons a day over that time. All I am doing is the daily task with the exception of IPM, which I haven't had to do yet this grow. There has been no signs of PM or pests, at least yet, so my fingers are crossed.

I woke up yesterday morning and the CO2 tank was empty. The grow store was closed so there won't be CO2 supplementation in the grow room until Monday. It will be interesting to see the effect this has on the plants over the next week. It might be necessary for me to turn down the intensity of the grow lights for the next couple of days.
I took clones yesterday as well. I took 6 clones from each plant. Now that I think about it, I don't know how it will be possible to select the best pheno after I wash each one. I have pot dividers but I'm limited to only 6 plants in veg. So I can use pot dividers and have 4 cuttings of each pheno, but I can only keep that many plants until they are big enough to start veg/be considered a plant. Once they get too big for the half gallon pot dividers I will have to cut down to six plants. Could be I just grow one of each pheno one more time and run a monocrop or two strain grow in the following flower cycle. That's definitely my safest option, I don't want to throw away the best phenos. However, I really want to keep the Blueberry Bang Bang in the rotation.

I checked in on the clones last night. They are looking great! The heat mat is set to half power and the lights are set for 18 hours on at power level 2. I opened the lid today for 5 minutes to replace a clone that I had cut too short. All the other clones were still looking like the day I cut them! There are also no light leaks from the clone tent.

The plants have been showing their early flower stretch so I rose the lights. Besides that, I refilled the reservoir with about 30 gallons of tap water over the week. I'd say each plant is drinking about a gallon each day. Oh, and the plants have began to produce pistols! I need to defoliate again this weekend.
