Contractors and extensions

I have a 4 way plugged into the wall with 2 plugs and from that I have 4 extension leads 10m heavy duty plugged in to reach my room all single sockets. Each one I plug in a 400watt led
Is that safe? I feel it is but I hate extension leads so checking before I turn the 4th light on as it has a 20m cable which on my welder drops current but that is bloody 16amp these are only hlg 350 and bxex 450 leds each on its own extension lead to the contactor timer

What country/voltage? Amps of the circuit you are using?

15 amp breaker on 120v would be full provided there isn't anything else on that circuit. Most likely you have other electric on that breaker. Thats pushing it.

Amps = watts ÷ volts
400÷ 110= 3.6 amps x 4 lights = 14.4 amps on a 15 amp circuit.

Not a safe situation right at the wall with an extra voltage drop from extension cords.
Not to mention it sounds like its plugged into a 4way powerboard that generally have a 10a overload button on them

It's a 4 way maxi bright wall Contractor 26amp for 4 1000watt hps
Im using 4 350watt led
And as there far away put each one on its own 10m 13amp extension lead. Didn't want them all on 1 lead even though lead states 3600watt max I figured it safer each one being on its own lead to its own plug on the timer
I could get longer light kettle leads instead but there fused too so didn't see harm having extension lead with its own fuse extra
Output: 4 x timer controlled standard 13A 230V BS1363 switched outlet sockets. Maximum load capacity 26A (13A per side)
