Sadly this is not it... (humidifier by SF)

On another note I looked up professional humidifiers that could handle 250m³/h they are equal in watts (250) and the size is about 2-3 times the size of the SF unit.

Might as well put a pot on my stove again when it's too dry and pray for rain every now and then.

Have you considered an evaporative cooler?

Wouldn't something like that work with a peltier element some pipes and a fan?
An evaporative cooler holds a couple gallons of water and simply pumps it to the top and gravity runs it through a filter. Air is moved by a fan. RO water and regular cleanings keep it running well.

I have one similar to this:

Growing in a 5 x 9 section of a 10 x 10 room my humidity averages 30% without it. With it on it lasts for hours and brings the humidity to the upper 40's where I like it.

what power draw? I cannot view the home depot site.

I run the same humidifier theres nothing wrong with the units they work well , you dont vent constantly and expect any humidifier to keep up thats absurd .
And if you dont set the hose up correctly of course its going to collect water rather than drain back down the hose into unit as designed .
No complaints here about the units i have 2 of them and no affiliation with the company what so ever.

I don't like when people assume what I did incorrectly.
We can agree to disagree and move on.
