  • hello there I came across an old thread on a certain PNW. strain you talked about ,had a couple questions, thanks
Hey Woodsmaneh ,man we need help with HC. I got a build permit for a 50k ft building and level 12 security. Applied in 2013 and still waiting for a security inspection. We sent an aerial photo and they approved the location but its technically less than 500 meters from a residential building. Partners think HC is just slow and I have been screaming about the things you are posting re: the MMPR.
Hey Woodsman. Hoping you would entertain a question from a side liner. I run a soil very similar to what you once did (coco, peat, ewc) and also use a PBP lineup. You had mentioned in an ancient post that you never flushed and actually reused your soil. Since PBP includes some synthetics, did you ever feel this compromised anything? Also, did you ever see the need for added bloom booster like hydroplex? Thanks!

I never saw or felt there were any salts build up or any thing bad doing it. I went a year and ran 5 crops and never changed it out. When I went to raised beds I just pulled out the plant and stuck in another one and top dress with EWC and water. With the EWC you don't need to much food for them. Real unprocessed EWC are far better than the store bought stuff.

That great to know. It does seem that the synthetics in PBP are pretty minimal. Lastly, if you dont mind me asking, since you were in a soil type medium, would you feed every water or every other water? Thanks for the help Woodsman!
Hey bro hope all is good. I started my first dwc (just doing one 5 gal) to see if it will grow on me and I recalled you working with RDWC. I had a quick question to see if you had any experience using tap h2O? and if one were to , what will be a efficient way to remove tds as much as possible? thxu

RO is the best way, if your in the city you need a charcoal filter to take the chlorine/chloramides out of the water.
I saw you post about LPs that are 30 to 300 feet from residences. I know Tweed is close to residences but Im not too sure about any others. My company is fighting with HC now bc even though we are zoned commercial, they are having issues with our property bc we are "in close proximity to residential homes". Your help would be greatly appreciated.
We are a small applicant in the jam with QA! The idea that an application the scope of ours requires a full time PhD or whatever they are looking for is pure rubbish. Sucks but we are still determined. You say you can help with strategies... that would be highly appreciated as we rack our own brains for a reasonable solution.
I have been following the MMPR thread on rollitup. You seem to be very knowledgable. My group and I currently have a application in the new MMPR program and I was wondering if you could help us out. What would be the best way to contact you?

    Thanks!
can you give me the link for the forum at thctalk on undercurrent systems Im a member but they are so many topics Im not sure if I have the right one. I want to build one and I would like to make as few mistakes as possible.
But seriously, thank you bro and glad to have met and chatted with you. Hope you are well and I send best wishes to you and your family. Thanks again for being so cool and offering valuable advice to me.

Hi, I recently saw your post in an editables thread. Do you have any cookie or brownie recipes for some good mids and also for some Grade A bud?
Hey man I just read a thread you posted in over a year ago on "water cooled grow rooms". You said your full horse chiller chilled 8 1000watts all at one time correct? I'm hoping on 8 soon and would hate to cut myself short on horse power.

It works, I'm making the switch after this run. Im gonna buy 3 chillers, a 1hp, a 1/2HP, and a 1/4HP. I have several sterilized plastic 55GAL drums. I also have 2 chillers now, just going to do some upgrades

I'm also going to run the chillers in another room and use insulated piping routed to and from the bloom room. On my new room build, I'm removing ALL heat generating gear out of the room
