I like Dr Chronic seedbank personally.
I just measured the size of the inner case and got a sheet cut a few mm's smaller. It sits on my fans. Search polycarb on fleabay for a guy who does it cheap.
It works well but I have an intake and exhaust that make it a cooltube. It might get hot & cause a problem if it isn't cooled.

you're a uk grower.. im from the uk also, where do you suggest i get my seeds?
i wonna do a grow just like yours, but all that volts and stuff with the fans confuses me :S can you tell me how your fans are wired.. like... what do they plug into and stuff..? im no good with electronics at all.
also, for a pc grow.. what pot sizes did you use? And the polycarbonate sheeting, how should i .. 'install' this? like... where and how did you lay it out? and how is you ventilation working with it? if you know what i mean

It's polycarbonate sheeting. 2mm thickness is best as it doesn't stop any light getting through.

hey im not sure if someones asked already but, in your perpetual pc grow - what did you use as for the heat shield?

Hope you enjoyed the grow. I would use LST over scrog these days as it does the same but is more flexible. If you are using a pc case then work out the distance between the top of the pots and the bottom of the lights. Knock 2 inches off the measurement and then half it. That should be about the right height for the screen.

hey man, been reading your Granita grow. I'm doing a scrog in a pc and was wondering about how many inches I would need between the screen and my CFLs so that the buds have enough room. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used mylar I got from empty crisp packets. Mostly Monster Munch Pickled Onion but there's some Prawn Cocktail in there too

You know I'll help you out where I can. I never tried g13 but it has a great reputation, you should get some nice buds out of it.
I figure on around 21g out of each plant and put a new plant in every 3 weeks or so to give me 1g per day.

hey i was just checkin out your grow journal man on my second grow you really gotta help me you are gonna get so much yeild outta that LST props man mad props nexet grow i have some g13 seed and ima get a big tray and just do 1 plant but full the whole box up like that haha how much u think ur gonna yield?

LST does that. If you bend the top of the plant underneath where the sidebranches are then the sidebranches will shoot up faster. Once you have 5 sets of sidebranches shooting up they will become 10 colas under 12/12 and you can let the main top grow normally again. Just try to keep them all the same size.

and can u show me how u can get 10 colas

I'll have a look at your journal and let you know what I think. If your case can support the extra watts though, the plant will definitely prefer it.

I have a quick question, if you don't mind.

Currently I have one 30 watt 2700k cfl in my case but i was thinking about putting three 13 watt 2700k cfl's instead. This would allow me to spread more even light and also add 9 additional watts of light. Do you think it would be for the better to add the three 13 watts, or should I stick with the one 30 watt?

Just wanted to say thanks. Your grow journal and Granita inspired me to start my own pc grow. Right now my set up is all ghetto and I don't care cause it's mainly a test run. i hope that I can get it down like you seem to have it. Thanks for all the inspiration again.
