  • tonight is going to be a cold one.. but after that, the nights should be around low 40s too and days around high 50s.. my fingers are crossed cause these babies should produce 2lbs each of dry bud.. thanks for the info dude.. appreciated.. cheers from Canada :-)
As far as I know, it only slows at frost temps. It's always flowering. If 50's is your overnight temp you have nothing to worry about. Freezing is death, and if its outdoor there's nothing you can do but pull it. My temps are around 40 at night right now and I still have about 3 weeks left, they're still budding like bastards. Bottom line, if you get frost try to cover them, for bud mold reasons only. The cold will slow growth but not stop it. If you have a freeze, sorry bro, you need to pull. I had to do it 3 weeks early last year, decreasing my yield and quality, it sucked.
cool.. i dont' think the temps will be heading down to the freezing point just yet.. but i will keep this in mind when it does.....

here is anotehr questtion.... at what temp does weed stop flowering? i know it slows down, but when does it stop completely? i need these ladies to last til near the end of Oct.
Actually it's both keeping the ground warm plus heating the immediate area around your plants, not so much to stimulate growth (it does help) but to prevent damage from cold temps. I can't stress enough to put some sort of protective layer of gravel between the rocks and ground to prevent drying out the root system, along with letting em cool for about half an hour. I've had em stay warm all night on a 33 degree night.
