read your co2 via yeast thread and thought youre the right guy to ask. My room is 968.75 cubic ft, 1085 if walk-in closet is included. i don't really get the science of fermentation, but would like to use the process to implement co2. i've read quite a few threads about 2 liter bottles, but i have a 55 gallon barrel to ferment in. my room is running in optimal environment, and i'm ready to reap the benefits of 1200-1500 ppm of co2. i was just at the brewery supply shop last night, couldn't asked them these questions. however, i got the paddle, is it hygrometer? and yeast that can handle 18% alcohol, pectic enzymes and nutrition for yeast. just need some advice on how to keep it safe. looking to learn how to brew beer some time in the future, any point towards the right direction would be helpful. Thanks.
