I go with Open Sesame,Big Plant Food,Ant Tiger Bloom. All Fox Farms Products. Use the Open Sesame for a week prior to flower start. Good Luck.

I don't know. If it's been dried out for a while definitely not. Unless it's something special just toss the plant. It will be a whole lot easier and faster to start fresh.

I've used Hot shot's no pest strip it works, but it's chemical. I personally did not taste the difference in quality.
I would go with that if your SM problem is getting out of hand they will be completely gone within 2 days
