The size of the container doesnt change because of the growing medium being perlite. I prefer growing in 2 gal containers, but that is just a personal preference. I also do 100% perlite and find it very simple. As for the cal-mag....I use it at 1/2 strength with every feeding, I mix my nutes up in 1 gallon jugs. I dont start using cal-mag until the plant shows signs of a calcium deficiency (usually brown on the leaves). Hope this helps ~Bone

hi, boneman, i have a question about the hempy grow, which size bucket do you recommend? Also about the cal-mag, could you please explain more, such as do you add the cal-mag at every feeding? I am considering starting to grow this method, just seems much easier, cost less, and better yield. Thanks for the info in advance.

With the Carbon filter on and the air being pulled through the cool tube the temp is 23oc,
I've already got a f i than in their, So just to review 4 plants most into their third set of leafs in good sized pots buried up to the leafs, Home Box S grow tent which is 80cm x 80cm and about 5'5 in height, Ikon carbon filter and inlet fan, cool tube 400w lamp, fan, thermometer and ph measurer, and height adusters to be fitted by the end of the day and they are on a 18/6 light regime,

I'm also thinking about getting some pebbles to help keep the moisture in the pots, and have bought some fruit and vegetable food concentrate, When do you think (should I start using it), it's an NPK fertiliser, 6-2-4, total nirtogen 6.0 %, (at present that's all well above my head)

hey boneman, i dont want to bother you too much, but im growing hempy buckets in 16oz cups and ive heard that you have a good amount of experience in growing with hempy buckets. as such, im currently in my first grow and i have some questions as to what nutes to use and algae growing on my perlite. the questions are posted at this link

You can, but its not necessary. Just start using the flowering nutes.

do i flush through then go onto canna flores

using canna veg until pistels develop then canna flores thereafter
