yeah i thaught of that too man but im going with shallow water culture next time ... i thaught about ur way and to much chance of hitting a tube when fucking around and theres 25 gallons of water in the apt lol this way worked but i wouldnt do it again ... and im telling you man ... lollypop and go on my thread look back a few pages from the end and read raidermans trimming technique .... its a fucking genius move im doing it next time around for sure.... i got way to many airy nugs this time around...... the tops look great but theres probly 50% airy underneith and towards the middle... no ones guna want that shit man .... do it raidermans way and youl have a shit load of 20 inch colas and youl be laughing lateron .... and veg them big as you can if u dont nedd to move them and your going to do what i just said because it will be all big colas man ..... remember theyl double or triple in size pending on ur strain ... happy growing

Sounds like you had a real "hoot"!! I will be using 5 separate buckets, one for each full grown plant, all controlled with a controller bucket for testing water, etc, all plumbed together. Did I misunderstand you about having 5 plants in one bucket?? I am also planning on having them in veg for maybe only a week or two depending on size.....thanks for the tips on that! Algae......aaaargh!! Im not sure what to do about that situation? Also, i think from your experience, it would be wise to plumb each bucket with some kind of spigot thingy to empty it without needing to lift up the plant??? Ya think that would have helped you any?

yeah i had some problems lol, guesse how hard it is to change a 5g bucket, when the buds are tied up, and theres a foot and a half of root mass lol theres 5 plants in there , 4 big 1 tiny lol. i had problems keeping up with the water... those plants in my opinion should have been in big tupperware cntainers if it was possible lol... because theyre drinking over 1.5 gals a day for probly the last 3 weeks.... my suggestion dont let them veg for a month to get 18 inches lol.. flwoer them at 10 inches and i would have been a much more ahppy fellow on res change day. and if u do this fucking lollypop ur plantz man over a few days cut off the bottom 1/3 of the plant stems and shit.. and it will make big buds at the top...

oh and roots that big... i didnt tell anyone but i had a bit of algae...... roots are to big the air rocks wernt doing it.... so make sure u got 2 or 3 air rocks in each bucket if ur guna try what i did lol
