I haven't used the journal feature (it's relatively new) and I've had some problems in the past uploading pics as well. They've changed shit around so it's a little more difficult than it used to be. There should be a way to create a new album and it should give you the option to upload pics. Just upload them from your computer. I'm sorry I'm not of more help with this. I'm not the most computer literate person and each time I upload pics it takes me an hour to figure it out again! lol!
