i read your how to grow thread, its very helpful. you said you started experimenting with growing when you were 16, im 17 and a buddy and i just planted our first grow back in the woods, only 6 plants. we own 120 acres or so i dont have to worry about anyone snooping around. you seem like you know a lot about growing so i just thought id let you know my grow situation just so i have someone knowlgeable to go to if i run into any problems with my grow this summer.

Hows it goin? I sent you a friend request because your forum was the first i read. Im not too familar with this site at all yet. But to get to the point i have been thinking about growing for a long time. The hardest thing to do sofar as been a place to do it, well me and a friend decided to use the attic in his garage. One question is what would the risk of fire or being caught be by using the attic in his garage(detached)? We plan on expirementing with 3-4 plants(would that be too much to handle as extreme novices?)And lastly i need to know where to find detailed step by step procedure for someone that knows nothing about growing. This information would help and future information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey is it able to grow a plant and bud it smaller then a size 10 shoe?

wats up man i read the whole article and have expiremented with growing in the past but never actually grew a crop the only real problem is the lights im starting out with flouresent lights but do i have2 have metal halide lights and high preassure sodium lights?
wats the cheapest way to do this?

I just read your how to article, very helpfull thanks for sharing. Maybe you can help me. My leaves are twisting like in a s shape. Also got lots of little white to yellow dots all over. they feel dry and the some have dry brown spots and brown edges. what could be the cause? they are 2 week old clones

Help Me Please! 1ft W x 2 ft Deep x 2ft H file cabinet with flourescents 3 regular 2 grow Walmart. Got 10/10 Early Mistys to germinate from Nirvana. Put them in Jiffy Pots 24/24 with well soaked Wal-mart Hyponex Soil within 2 inches of flourescents. After 2 days 3 seedlings came up. Temp low 90s so I put in a 30 cfm PC exhaust fan with humidity 30% sometimes a bit less so i put a cup of water in there. Temp in low 80s with 60% Hu until pots start to dry out then it goes too low for my meter to read it.

On Sat AM , they looked really good. When I came back Monday, the best seedling had fallen over and looked very dry when I put my finger into the Jiffy Pot. I want from fantistic to Oh Shit in 48 hours. What am I doing wrong? I tried not to over water but can those Jiffy Pots dry out that fast? Can I save my babys or do I need to start all over again?

What is the best way to treat my new borns? Clearly I screwed up somewhere.

Any advice for a newbie greatly appreciated.

hey widow i read your "how to" article just wanted to say thanks it helped me out a lot i just had one or two ?s well some info first im using 400watt fluorescent and an aeroponic tank to grow 4 plants they're still only 4 to 5 inches tall but im seeing some light brown spots appearing on the edges of the leaves ussually the younger ones im thinking its a nuitrition deficency what do you think? and the plants are in these rocks called hydroton and i leave the water on 24/7 but the roots seem to be growing very well and they have found their way out have started going down toward the pool of water at the bottom is the watering technique ok or should i to what ive been recomended of 15-20 mins/hour what do you think? thanks for any advice

hey man i got some clones like two weeks ago and they are in some scotts premium potting soil and i think their ph is all messed up because their leaves are like twisting and bending and have kinda like light green areas on them. i got a soil ph soil tester and it says it is right above 6 but i dont think thats right. i think i read somewhere that you had some experience with scotts and i was wondering that in order to change the ph in the soil do i have to make new soil or can i make some kind of water solution to fix this. please help and thanks!!

i have a question, iam growing two plants in my closet with two 75watt floresents, and a fan on them. the leace are rolling up like a carpet. whats the problem and what should i do. thxs

I'm new to the forums and to the world of growing, and I'm wondering when the proper time to switch from veg to flowering is and what all exactly has to change, do I have to worry about a lot of things at that stage or will the plant know when to flower? Thanks!!!
