I found this recipe for treating rockwool for the first time to enhance ph control. But the directions for dosage/mixing were not there. Any advice at how to do this?
Here's the recipe: To pre-treat rockwool for planting, soak it in a solution of fish emulsion,
trace mineral solution and phosphoresic acid (PH Down) for 24 hours, then rinse.
This will decrease the need for PH worries later on, as it buffers the rockwool
PH to be fairly neutural.
I found all of these at amazon, but the trace mineral solution I found I am unsure of.
