depending on how big ur plant is and how much water weight ur stem and leaves can deal with is when ud wanna decide to take it in, il leave my smaller plants in the rain for a bit until the rain drops on the leaves start to weigh the leaves down and it makes the plant look like its droopy, thas when il bring them under sum cover, but ya i always let my plants get alittle shower if possible helps wash off the dust that floats around outside and will wash off sum of the bigger bugs
