A California resident,one of three accused of moving hundreds of pounds of high grade marijuana to Illinois pleaded guilty Tuesday in Peoria federal court to conspiracy. David L. Yarger of Santa Rosa will be sentenced July 31st. He along with Rebecca Grundman, 33 and Larry Fischer,36 of Santa Rosa were arrested earlier this year. Police say Yarger was arrested after an undercover agent set up a buy of more than two dozen pounds of marijuana for $2800 a pound. The trio was arrested as part of Operation Western Green, a joint police effort to tackle the marijuana problem. Over two dozen people have been rounded up so far in his effort.
