what journal? what are you growing? if you're gowing anything on the functional side of mids, smoke reports are my greatest interest really. in general, these are some of the best lessons i've learned: organic is cheaper, easier and tastes better, halides make better quality bud, especially in flavor and terpene expression, just not as much as sodium, & i like old school fluffy buds anyways. let your tap water age at least overnight to let the flouride evaporate, room temp water makes roots happier too. heating mats & domes help sprouts take off faster. get a moisture meter! in a 70 degree plus room, most sativa dominant strains can get by in a small grow without serious odor control. the cheapest air moving & scrubbing option is a box fan with a slightly larger carbon furnace filter made air tight behind it. highland thai is a fussy hermie bitch.
