    Post your tomatoes

I'm just starting to get some peppers. Red Portugals about the same heat as a cayenne but way more flavor.

Stable in terms of genetics expressed. But the ones I've seen wanted to flower right away as far as light and being rootbound goes. And they were indica, maybe the sativas wouldn't be as sensitive being from a more tropical/equatorial region. It also would make sense to respond to environment...

    Open Show and Tell 2015!

Man this is going to get too close to conspiracy theories. I think that "american dream" is bunk. I've seen too many people get a little money and influence from working the herb and that little illusion of power went straight to their head. For sure that's not everyone but I've seen more...

    Post your tomatoes

Thanks! first time at this spot for the girls. I decided to do tomatoes early and cover them so I'm stoked they are actually getting fruit earlier than normal.

    Soldiers Co Op Outdoor thread

Yep, I'm constantly trying some new indoor stuff too, and keeping cuts of the new outdoors. Ditto for me as well, always have to have something to help me sleep, (nerve/back pain). But still need something for the daytime. I'm asking about the landrace cause that hindu kush is early. I'd imagine...

And I thought I was crazy starting another seed variety. Can't wait to see pics of the landrace testers, any idea on flower time?

    Wearing a big ole crown

hey thanks, yeah today there are a couple tops that are wilted, shriveled, so not looking too good. I was only going to do 12 plants with a couple backups, so still have 16 other healthy decent sized plants. Time to experiment I guess :-x. I know people down south spray that eagle 20 as a...

That dragonfly is good stuff! I bubble up teas with high tricodermas, but obviously not enough so I'm re evaluating variables.

    Calico's dozen-ish

Thanks! Yeah always keep an eye on the weather forecast and know how much water the plants are getting. I'm using a dirt mix that is denser than what I'm used to, so that played a role in the overwatering as well. Really though it never drooped from too much water, just the opposite, it grew...

    Calico's dozen-ish

I should have taken a picture before I put that black microbe mix on the stem, but I was leaving the next day for a few days so did what I could. I'm going to paint on a liquid sulphur mix to the stem, which should help prevent rot from spreading, in theory anyway. It's cool and wet in the PNW...

healthy stem for comparison, one of the OGOG phenos that I almost didn't put out. The plant on the left has the stem and a good amount of tops although not as many as the rest, I think.

    Calico's dozen-ish

So I do have one casualty this year. Stem rot in one of the smallest plants actually. I describe prevention and treatment here, http://rollitup.org/t/wearing-a-big-ole-crown.858271/. I think it's a combination of factors, overwatering being one. This plant actually grew by leaps and bounds and...
