It increases yield in the sense that you have far less popcorn buds at harvest. I tend to just toss all the tiniest buds in the hash pile anyway, so when I lollipop the plant I end up with far more usable weight.
I haven't seen anyone mention Common Mychorizal Networks yet. Its where mychorizae of the same species link together. Its one of the reasons ill only inoculate with a single species of mychorizae in my outdoor plants so that, come flowering time, they're all communicating with eachother...
Honestly man you can drop it down to 50 degrees and the plants will be fine. I had some Blueberry outdoor and it dropped into the 40s and they came out nice and purple.
