Just a thought what about starting in final pot but use solo cup with no bottom for start of grow. And a short piece of PVC pipe with a 6 inch diameter around cup. Once plant grows larger slide cup out of pot then pipe when plant grows to roughly diameter of pipes size. No need for transplant...

If your not venting air from the room your temps will keep high. Need to find a way to exhaust air and have air intake as well. The hps light will put off considerable heat
