LED suggestion for 1x1x2 Micro grow Single plant

Bridgelux EB strips are awesome, when under-driven they don't need heat sinks.

On top of that, there is a humongous hole in the supply for the demand. Canada was running dry, like, the whole country.

I'd like to open my own dispensary, hire all medical patients with real problems like surgeries, cancer, tumors, PTSD etc. I want to provide full medical, dental and vision to all employees, because the company can afford it. Sick leave, paid holidays, and if you're too sick to get groceries...

LED suggestion for 1x1x2 Micro grow Single plant

I'll do cheap and dirty for vegetation and cloning, flowering I will open my wallet wide. Right now I'm putting together 210W of Vero light engines from TastyLED, if they work out I will be buying 2kW worth from TastyLED. :leaf:

This isn't my first rodeo, I've been waiting a decade for LED to get to this point. The space is optimized for it, aeroponics will carry the feed, I just need to find the right light source. I'm not looking for anything outrageous like 2 g/W, that would be 4 kilos, I'm aiming a bit more...

Still, ~50W is what I'm using now with LED bulbs. I spent less than $10 for this fixture and I'm happy with it. But it won't last as long and it doesn't provide the spectrum or flexibility I'm looking for. It is just cheap and dirty, yet effective.

Once it is built. I'm still testing the Bridgelux Vero 29 C, based on small scale performance I will decide if I should order 2kW of Vero or switch to another brand. Everyone is screaming I'm an idiot and the Luminus or the Citizen are better than the Bridgelux. If I can manage the efficiency...

LED suggestion for 1x1x2 Micro grow Single plant

Efficiency is what LED is all about. Where would you suggest to source the EBs? I'm already putting together a custom Vero 29 fixture for flower testing. I'd like to have an adjustable LED option for vegetation to keep the mums nice and bushy with plenty of stems. +1 Bridgelux

I could get into all of that, but I'm not building a 10kW setup. My design is maximizing efficiency, my goal is to use 2kW over one square meter, I'm looking for 2.5 kilos. :leaf:

Best LED lights for under $200?

Dude, forget that thing. Either one of these would annihilate that thing and they are both $360, plug-n-play, daisy chainable, manually adjustable and active-air-cooled. The 90 will grow taller plants, the 80 will grow shorter bushier plants...

Since you're on a roll and I'm not as familiar with the EBs as you are, what would you recommend for a vegetation chamber 20" x 20" x 30"?

Take some photos with the lights off, the color and detail of an individual plant will help greatly.
