I believe it's one bulb per ballast. Some ballasts only do one type of light (MH or HPS), and some run both. Some allow you to turn the wattage down (dimmable), but your bulb wattage should match your ballast. Cheers!

If that'll be your start of flowering, the darkness should be just fine. It may jump them into flowering, which sounds right on track with what you're planning. Even if not, though, if fire's a concern, be safe. Being sorry would just suck way too much to risk it. I'd also recommend watering...

The fox farm line isn't organic, so you might have to keep a closer eye on your pH. You won't have the same sort of active beneficials to keep the pH in check. I'd suggest following the feeding schedule for now, and reading up on how to listen to your plants, so to speak. They'll tell you if...
