Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Not at all surprised and completely believable that someone gave the correct information from IDPH, after watching how they've done things for the last 4 months. What could be the most unfair way to do this? Extra points if you can continue to delay as many sick people as you can as long as you...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Used to be this thread recommended mail in so you'd have warning that your check cashed. Ever since I read the law I've been trying to get people to stop that. Here's how it goes: When you apply online you enter everything they would need to issue your card except for checking up on you. Your...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

I did. I read the law before applying. I was looking for the catch (and there are some, like flagging driver's licenses, putting it in the PMP). I know reading laws sucks, but I'm amazed people sign up for something like this not knowing the law. I often hear people saying they won't tell their...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

I'd take anything you hear like that from an IDPH employee with a grain of salt. They also said provisional was only for opioids when it's very clear it's only for MCPP. I don't think it would be practical to have provisional with snail mail applications. Someone would have to enter them into...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

At all points it will be quicker and easier to get opioids by prescription. Even after OAPP and provisional happens you will need to upload papers and picture. Then you will be stuck at one dispensary for the 90 days (OAPP). And to top it off transportation of an opened container is questionable...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Expected around 1/31 with OAPP. Uknown when because the out of state software company doesn't work on hard deadlines. Unknown if it back dates to people already in the system, because you know, you don't want to tell people any details like whether they should wait to apply or not. If a Dr form...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Exactly. It should've been like no longer requiring fingerprints, as soon as the law passed they should've sent out letters to be provisional access. There was no excuse.

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

They entered the number off my card in person the first time and said I wasn't signed up for their dispensary. Asked if I wanted them to transfer me or try to figure out where I was signed up at. I'm not calling around the state to figure out which of the 55 stores they signed me up with...

You also need to be at the dispensary not right at closing the first time, it takes a little while to get you checked in the first time.

Your envelope is different but the following post would explain why. If they're having printer problems again it would be different. Yay and grrr. Glad they're sending letters. So why in hell couldn't they have started sending letters as "provisional access" much earlier? This proves they...

As Spellchek said, in the new law. They also restated the Dr patient relationship (but didn't really clarify that any better, and I think there have been some crack downs or at least new fears from the mmj clinic Drs. I've heard of someone who was supposed to visit the Dr they saw at the clinic...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Yes, or find a new Dr and I think re-apply. Dr's can revoke your card for many reasons, including no longer having a Dr patient relationship. I see no way for a present card holder to change their Dr except on the original application. Hytek struck me as a scam, up to and including requiring...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

I'm not expecting a miracle cure. I know someone who was pumped up and avoiding Drs, ended up with a colectomy. Had to be ignoring some major symptoms to go from saying feels great to having your colon removed. I don't plan on avoiding modern medicine until science says it does more than...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

What gets me is they sped up for October-November with waits of 75-ish days. But they approved a very low number in November then seemed to completely stop (as far as online reports went). Then right back to 90-ish days for December. Now over 90 days for January. Just think if they wouldn't have...

My neck fusion's last neuro post op visit would've been sooner than people are getting cards now.

OK, I can buy that. I have a thing about healthy food because of Crohn's, if I can't eat normal that's not normal. Plus special diets haven't been proving anything with science, seems they're just limiting. Although I will say what I call my remission decade was when I was living off hunted game...

And that is one thing IL got right from the start so we shouldn't have the problems the west coast is having.

I'm still iffy on how much it helps. Sleep, OMG, yes. And they say sleep helps everything else (except my migraines, which may have been worse for a while but tomorrow makes a week since my last one). I see people complaining about prices. It's the same price I was given on the street for an...

Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Should be, but can't. You need the card and ID to get into a dispensary. Someday you will need your card or the provisional document and ID. But that day was not 8/28, 12/1 or today. That's not a state website.

Couple to a few weeks. Basically when you send something they accept you'll be approved. You keep your place in line you're just standing off to the side for a bit.
