    Grape ape grow questions

Sounds like a Metal Halide, which will inhibit stretch. So yes, you'll need to raise the light. I dont think I'd bother with wattage if you have the space. Another way to promote stretch would be higher temps, and a large temperature swing from day to night. You're on 24/0 so that second one...

    Really good deficiency chart

They need to make more charts showing people how to pH adjust their water. Then they wouldn't need all these deficiency charts. Nice chart though!

    Grape ape grow questions

You say Christmas tree shape which indicates sativa dominant growth, so stretch is likely inevitable, even with the lights as they are. Is it HPS, or MH? HPS will also encourage stretch, while MH will help to inhibit it.

Dropped my plant. Looking bad, need advice

She'll recover, give a little time and care. I had a young plant outside that was literally decimated by rabbits or a groundhog, or something. Two leaves left at the top of the plant. She ended up leafing back out and basically caught up to the non-eaten plants. Best of luck.

    First In-The-Ground-Grow, We're Flowering

I've got a nice big Frisian Duck outside. I amended per the recommendations from a soil test, and the same soil has been growing a ridiculous amount of tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, peppers, and melons. I assume that the soil will do great as well to finish her out, but I wasn't sure if I should...

    SEEDS ?

Well, if it self-pollinated, then it should still be an auto. Depending on how the plant self-pollinated, it could be the standard 50/50 male to female. This would be if it grew distinct male flowers somewhere on the plant, or went nanners. If it went WAY past harvest time, it may have gone...

    70RH at all times

Hi everyone. Usually I have more control over my humidity, but right now I can't get the RH in my house below 70%. Aside from the chance of mold, what are the consequences of drying in 72F, 70RH, in darkness, and constant light airflow. Will the buds ever dry properly in this environment?

    SEEDS ?

Depends on the parents. Who was the daddy? How was it a dud? I'm confused. Because it had seeds?

Should items with < 1 N-P-K still be avoided early on?

Big Bloom is the Micro part of the Fox Farm Trio 3 part system. It's meant to be used all the way through, in addition to the Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. I think Lucas formula guys drop the Grow Big. It's basically concentrated compost tea, and you'll need more than that to get through flower...

First grow, can't figure out the issue :/

Dude, I have to disagree. That is an unhealthy plant. Lower leaves start yellowing near the end of flower, not early to mid veg. The vast majority of my leaves remain on the plant through flower, losing only the ones getting little light.

First grow, can't figure out the issue :/

Your RO water is leaching the Calcium from the soil, so yeah, probably some CalMag with that RO from now on. Maybe a slightly lower pH too. Depending on the soil, you may need nutrients, 3 weeks seems about when I start, if I'm taking it easy. I bet if you start feeding and add CalMag, you'll...

Is this what I think it is?

Ohh, you must not be gardening enough. I see kinky 5 on 1 action going on in there. My favorite part? The "receptacle."

Is this what I think it is?

Actually, it's a "stigma." A pistil is the stigma, style, and ovary/ovule(I can't remember!!!!,) all together. Congrats on the little girl OP. Take care of her. Less is more.

HOW TO KILL SPIDER MITES 100%: " Naturally - no chemicals"

Well I'd actually rather use pyrethrins in flower than Neem. Neem seems to destroy stigmas, and smells like shit, and lasts so damned long. Great in Veg though, and like I said, with good cultural practices, if you can get to flower without mites, there's no reason, indoors, you should be...

HOW TO KILL SPIDER MITES 100%: " Naturally - no chemicals"

Keep in mind that in California, basically anything is know to cause cancer, including wood. Rarely does reason trump fear-mongering. Wood dust is a chemical? And it causes cancer!? Pyrethrins are incredibly safe and I've used them for years without issue. I do two weeks out from harvest at...

coconut coir, gnats.. general help please...

I can't imagine you'll have gnat issues in coco. I've never heard that. Gnats like moist, decaying organic matter to lay eggs in, at the first couple inches of medium. Coco just isn't usually ideal. I've done coco indoors and out with both synthetic and organic nutrients and haven't had them...

Maybe Sulfur problems and Calc also Mag

Sounds good, but forget epsom salts, they are not necessary if you're using a full nutrient line, meaning specifically, a part A and B system, or a Micro, Grow, Bloom system. No additives. If in bloom, after you've been following the schedule, and you start seeing a deficiency in Ca. or Mg, I...

coconut coir, gnats.. general help please...

You can't veg too long, really, but I believe anything past 6 months is basically pointless. Not sure if SCROG has to account for transition stretch but I'd say it's ready for the flip when the screen is full.
