I was under the assumption that for them to flower I just had to change the amount of light that they receive, I can always move to them to a dark spot in my house (like a cabinet somewhere) if it is too bright where they are.

I'll definitely make sure to pick one of these up.

The white fluff is a pipe-cleaner that I am using to tie the plants to a toothpick to help them stay up. I don't know why the soil is so clumpy (it's MiracleGro), it pretty much came out of the bag like that. I'm going to try to water the soil less to see if that helps with the clumps.

I am using a standard lamp, I was going to get a bendable extension to turn the bulb towards the plants. In the interim I have put a piece of aluminum foil on top of the lampshade to reflect all of the light that is going up back down to the plants.

The soil in the pots is MiracleGro... When I want some bigger pots I was thinking about some Smart Pots, I've heard good things but am not 100% sure whether or not I should use them. I'll also definitely look into the FFOF, thanks for the tips!

I just wanted to update you guys, here is the new setup! I'm pretty sure I recently over watered the one on the far left, I poked some holes in the soil to hopefully help get some oxygen to the roots, but other than that how does it look?

The pot they're in already has a drainage system, how would I fix an issue with air circulation?

Hey, this is my first ever grow and my setup is extremely minimal. I'm attempting to grow on my windowsill, and would like to avoid the hassle and cost of setting up a whole grow room. Are my seedlings stretching or am I just being overly worried? My plants are a little over a week old.
